An extreme in temperatures and rainfall led to a month of mixed weather conditions with bright sunshine and heavy stormclouds
The horses did a combination of cantering up the all-weather and grass gallops, as well as swimming

While other horses used the Links

And more of the two-year-olds were put through the stalls in preparation to making their debut on the race track

Our interview of the month was with Rory MacDonald of the British Racing School.
Mark added: "Rory is without doubt a top man. He has revolutionised the British Racing School single-handedly. It is now a top-class establishment, winning awards for training and sending out in to the industry well-trained young people. His best asset is that he is a Sheffield Wedneday supporter!
"The school is constantly being updated with new accommodation blocks and the latest scheme is a new american style barn. I recommend anybody who has never been there to go for a visit - the door is always open and they are delighted to show people around. For anyone leaving school and wanting to come in to racing there can be no better place to start."
