Is there no end in sight for this awful weather

Battery Power, Astrolibra and Diverting at Dullingham

The Guvnor is feeling a bit under the weather at the moment so has not been in the office for a couple of days. However, under the watchful eye of both David and Darren everything has been out doing their usual exercise. Some of the older horses have been out cantering, braving the elements on the heath, whilst the others have been using the indoor school. The new two-year-olds are continuing their prep work and are all progressing really well.

The weather around the country is playing havoc with everyday life; even the racing is being severely disrupted. With the River Severn bursting its banks, Worcester racecourse looks more like a swimming pool than a racetrack. Unfortunately Worcester is not the only casualty to the weather, with the torrential rain and high winds Chepstow for today, and Ludlow for tomorrow, have already abandoned their meetings. Every where else are reporting, at the very least, soft ground with the majority having heavy in the description. Watching the forecast is nothing to get excited about either, with no end in sight. Let’s just hope we don’t get the tail end of the horrendous weather the USA are getting at the moment, that is something we do not wish for.
