"One can find so many pains when the rain is falling."

The rain has held off so far this morning although it is forecast to be very wet later on this afternoon. The wind does seem to have picked up a bit though, which makes it feel colder than it actually is. We continued the same exercise regime today, with the older horses going out on the heath and the two-year-olds staying in the indoor school. Everything went smoothly.

The Guv’nor is up at Garrowby today looking over all the mares, yearlings, two-year-olds and horses temporarily out of training.  As it is Saturday tomorrow, we wouldn’t normally be doing a site, but we will be taking the unusual step of doing one in the morning to give you all the news from up north.
