Last few days to enter

"Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through

Ralph Waldo Emerson.

It’s very damp and dreary here today and has been raining on and off all morning. There’s no wind though, so the temperatures are staying quite mild. All the horses have been out to exercise on the heath and everything has gone smoothly.

We thought last night we were going to have another foal born. After watching the monitors most of the evening, we went to bed expecting to get a call from the night watchmen but nothing happened. I think she will definitely have it in the next couple of days and I will let you know when it arrives. She is one of the last two that we have left to foal.

Hold Firm

I went up to Garrowby yesterday to have a look round. The stud looks great, the grass is very lush and green and the yearlings are thriving and growing well. The horses always do so well up there and it was nice to see that this year is no different.

Prayer Time

It’s the last few days to get your entries in for our Five-to-Follow competition, which closes this weekend, so take a few minutes to have a look and email in your selections.
