A very well deserved winner of the Longines Ladies Award ...

It's been a chilly morning

"You can't wrap love in a box, but you can wrap a person in a hug."

Swilken (Farhan)

It’s a mixed morning with big black clouds and bright sunshine. It looks like it is coming down from the north and getting much colder. We have a good team of riders in today with a few new faces. The new ones have plenty of experience and will blend well into the yard. We have been round Side Hill with first two lots and all has gone well.

Prayer Time (Joe)

It was the start of the yearling sales season this weekend, over in Deauville. It is very much a boutique sale with international buyers coming to enjoy the top class racing, the sales and the ambience of Deauville, which is a very welcoming place. Prices seem to have kept up well but there are quite a lot withdrawn and not sold. It will be very interesting to see how the rest of the season progresses. We have got Doncaster and Tatts Fairyhouse in the not too distant future. I think there could be some value to be had this year and if anybody is thinking of purchasing a yearling, please do get in touch to discuss the matter.

Hold Firm (Ali)

It is the big week of the year for Yorkshire, with the Ebor meeting starting this week. It is top class racing on a very well run and welcoming racecourse. If you have never been before make every effort to go as you will thoroughly enjoy it.
