Cantering on Hamilton Hill

It’s a sunny morning with very little wind. The forecast is for a couple of bands of rain to come across the country this week, from tomorrow onwards, but we are enjoying the weather whilst it lasts. First lot did some fast work on the Al Bahathri, all went well and they are all ready to run and with credit. Second and third lot have been doing good conditioning canters on both Bury Side and Steve’s Hamilton Road horses have been on Hamilton Hill.

It’s the first day of the Festival today, which to me is always the best day of the week, with the Champion Hurdle at 3.20. Phil, Richard and I are having our competition, all to a £10 level stake win on each race. Everybody will have their own fancies and good luck to you all. There will be plenty of story’s come out of the week and I am sure, as usual, this meeting will produce some surprises. Horse racing is a great leveller and sometimes money and its buying power doesn’t always work out.

We still have some shares available in the new syndicates / partnerships this year and Careless Rapture is well worth looking at. She has developed into a smashing filly, by a top class stallion, out of a good mare and she is one that could go far. We have all sorts of options to get involved with her, from purchase to lease, whether it is a 12th share, or any percentage upwards. I can highly recommend her and we have a new video of me talking about her on the site.

Thank you to all the people who have phoned in or sent messages asking about Angie. She is bruised, but remarkably nothing is broken and she is on the mend, albeit slowly. She thanks you all for your good wishes.
