Due to Neil being away

Thursday, 26 August 2010

Due to Neil being away today, there will be no pictures of today's action and I won't be blathering on about the weather - thank goodness I can hear everybody shout. But just so you don't get withdrawal symptoms, it is 5 o'clock on Wednesday, as I write and it is pouring down.

Three runners on Thursday. Forgotten Army runs at Lingfield, he has not run since Pontefract several weeks ago but has been moving nicely in his work and I am hopeful of a sound run. Then at night, we run No Rules and Kathleen Frances at Goodwood. No Rules will love the ground, stays the trip well and is fit, so we are hopeful of a good run. The same applies to Kathleen Frances, who has won her last two, is in very good form and looks to be improving but needs to handle this very soft ground and track, which sometimes finds them out. She is moving from a very flat Yarmouth to an undulating Goodwood. Sorry for the small edition but normal  service will resume on Friday.
