Pastoral Pursuits ex Trew Class yearling

It's a mild and overcast morning with the odd drop of rain mingled in. It's the start of a barmy week with so many things happening - horses running, staff on holiday and I'm doing the feeding at 4.30am. Everything has been cantering on Southfields on Racecourse Side and all the horses are happy and well.

We have one runner today. Lost The Moon runs in the last at Chelmsford, the 4.50. She ran without any luck last time. I have stepped her up in trip and all being well she should not be far away today. Her dam has been a marvellous broodmare and I have trained nearly all of them to win races. We have a two year old and a yearling out of her at present and she is due to foal early in the new year.

We shall be publishing our Christmas site on Friday and then there will not be another blog until the New Year. We have a couple of very good competitions for you to take part in. One will keep you busy throughout the holiday and one that you will have to get your answers in early on Boxing Day. We shall also be announcing the final results of the dieting for charity along with many other articles.
