New and exciting horses for sale ...

It's a busy morning at the sales

"Don’t quit your daydream."

It’s a damp start with a very fine drizzle in the air. It is also much darker at first lot and we are wearing our fluorescent jackets to make us visible. We have two non-runners this morning, but a new full time worker and some more in the pipeline, so crisis managing was not too bad. We have been cantering close to home on the polytracks and one or two have gone up the turf on Southfields.

Our runners all performed with reasonable credit over the weekend. Roof Garden had his third run and will now be handicapped, Topapinion improved once again, Saint Anthony hated the kickback, but got another experience, and Indian Red was in the wrong place throughout his race. He stayed on well though and just needs some luck with the draw.

Dixon ran a sound race on Saturday night with the race not going quite right for him. His second place will give him confidence and he is a winner waiting to happen. It is good that they are all in great form and we should have a good run from now onwards.

Angie and I have been very busy at the sales over the weekend, getting round as many lots as possible, in fact we see every horse between us and we have got several on our shortlist if the price is right. If anybody wants a proper, sound racehorse, with a future ahead of it, please give me a ring as I would be delighted to purchase and train it for you.
