Ashley lies across the Bahamian Bounty ex Qilin colt for the first time

A very mild and breezy morning with plenty of cloud but, fortunately, not a drop of rain. First and second lot cantered up Long and Warren Hill and the yearlings are making great progress. The yearlings look a nice bunch and I am already looking forward to next year with them.

The colts out of Gold Hush, Fiddle-Dee-Dee and Qilin.

Astrodiva runs this afternoon in the 4.10 pm race at Lingfield. She still seems in good form and, assuming she handles the track, I would be very hopeful of her being in the shake-up today. A win would be fitting compensation for a filly, who has been knocking on the door throughout so much of her career.

Phil and Ian are keeping their heads down this morning after Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat against Shakhtar in the Champions League yesterday. Unfortunately, I have to keep my head down as well with Huddersfield inflicting a 2-0 defeat on The Owls.
