Comrade Bond With Abby

An overcast morning after another day of mixed weather - the temperature is holding up well and its a very pleasant morning to be out on the Heath. There was plenty of activity going on with all the canters open including the grass hills. The Vicar was out showing one of his colleagues his "parish" here explaining to him the work he does and how he can expand it throughout the country.

Our runners ran reasonably well again yesterday. Imjin River could never get in the right position but don't give up on him. Koralova Tectona jumped well and showed aptitude for the jumping game, and will improve again for a more strongly run race and softer ground. I would hope that she can win in this sphere shortly. Cornish Beau ran well at Leicester and he is another that is on the upgrade and on the right handicap mark.

Its very interesting to see a big article on the Ebor Handicap in the Racing Post today, with Pricewise nominating Tominator as his pick. I think I can remember Tominator being a long way behind Ted Spread at Chester last year and, if it rains, this is the type of race which would suit Ted. See if you can get on "with a run", and don't rule out Mystery Star who would love the ground on the fast side.
