A damp and dreary start to the morning...

fill barn and cellar and bring much hay."

A damp and dreary start to the morning but quite mild; it looks like being one of those grey sort of days all day long. We have had a busy morning with owners coming to see their horses and, as you can see from above, I think that they have all enjoyed themselves. Coming to see your horse out on the Heath and visiting the stables is all part of the fun of being an owner and something that I encourage all my owners to do as much as possible.

Today marks the start of the Rugby World Cup with New Zealand playing Tonga; it would be a surprise if the Tongans were able to beat Kiwi's at home but they are sure to give it all they have got and it is bound to be, or have been by now, a great match. England's first match is against Argentina but with the New Zealanders odds-on to win the World Cup and with England at a best price of 12-1, we shall have to give our boys every bit of encouragement that we can.
